Here is another view of what I want a/c to look like
hidden away under my side wall solar panels.

above you can see the refrigerator roof vent that draws in the air into the cabinet

I think I would try and vent the A/C out the floor if you're going totally stealth. I can't find any pictures but you could build a plenum so fresh air is drawn in from a side wall across the condenser coils and out the floor? Mine isn't total stealth but it works well.

Skip back 3-4 posts, 1 page back and you will see the AC will vent behind the side solar panels
This should keep them mostly hidden , I will suck in fresh air from below the floor , hot air vents up.

I also had the idea of bending some white sheet metal to make a Chanel to run my wires inside
By using a 1/2" copper pipe between some boards
The metal could be attached with VHB tape........
I'll make a sample and try to post a picture of what I have in mind .....
With that plan wires would be mostly hidden & protected from damage

Here is my latest idea

I will install a extra wide tool box on the trailer tongue
Above that will be the front solar panel 255 watts
and to hide the front panel - a diamond plate cover in one piece,
this cover will fold down and lay flat on the cargo box,
a friend said that I could be used as a table & needs some bar stools....

when the sun is gone, the cover would just be folded back up & secured with screws.

5 large panels will also be installed on top of the roof.
2 panels on each side , over 2,200 watts

I thought about putting a tool box in the same spot, but won't it take a big bite out of your jack knife angle? Someday you're going to need to back into a tight spot and that thing is going to be a big bummer.

its a good thing I still have you guys supervising me !!!
so I better figure out how to make the box easy on & easy off ......
before I go further with the plan

Jerry, It is hard to tell from the picture how tight it really is. I would hitch up and see first. If you need a smaller box there are plenty of them. You might also find a welder who could clip the corners to give you a little more clearance.

Hi Mark

Here is an idea, lets say you mount the tool box on a 30" drawer side,
that would give you the option to side the box 15" in either direction.Right or left as needed.

The box would normally sit at the 15" extension and would be locked down with some kind of pin ?
or maybe get a longer 40 - 50" drawer slide if there is one, depending on need.

Maybe if you could find some that were rated for outdoor exposure and didn't put too much weight in the box...

You can't really tell how bright they are as these photo's were shot from almost 90 deg angle.
But I can almost promise tail gaiters will get a LED sunburn

The red light from the side marker "bottom right" is just one LED,
the rear are 66 LED's in Red and 30 LED's in white light.



I have another 36 Red - Orange LED marker lights to be installed.

Per the manufactures recommendation I reinforced the ceiling with 1" x3" lumber
its notched so it fits directly under the alum roof beam - to provide extra support

the 1250 watt roof panels weight about 200 LBS and this will help greatly.

This gives me a full 3.5" to add insulation
