Loving it! Really like the door rain guard.

Thanks !!! I’ve tried to do this in the “Thrifty” manner and yet do something “original” .... but the wife keeps muttering something about ... “horse trailer” ...
Regrettably , the neighborhood is filled with horse trailers that really do look a LOT like this ... Oh well !!!

Pint??? I buy it by the gallon, but then I have old farm equipment... Actually 1 part acetone to 1 part ATF usually works better at freeing rusted bolts. Sometimes I feel it is just easier and quicker to break the bolts off and replace them.

That paint looks great. Never though of that spacer trick. I will have to remember that one!

Lookin' Good GPW !

The bottom skirt idea is a good one and will give it a very
finished appearance on the bottom.

For future reference Consider:
Dividing the skirt into drawer fronts for a series [2-3-4 per side]
of under floor exterior drawers to hold either lightweight bulky
items or other needed items for setting up the FS as a homebase
at the bugout destination point, like: electric extension cords,
leveling boards, wheel chocks, folding lawn chairs, under-awning
ground tarp/rug etc.. These items could be kept in the drawers
when not in use and would save time at the bugout time by being
already present and accounted for and ready to go.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Mel , you mean the tape trick ? We used to lay out the tape , put another piece next to it , then another , and remove the center one ... a waste of tape ... Now that even masking tape is so expensive (for some unknown capitalist reason  ) , the spacers do the trick with less expense ... Thrifty ...

Norm , although that sounds like a good idea in a more normal part of the country , The excessive Humidity here requires us to store our “goodies" in large bins in the “dry" House or Studio .. And all those will be carried in the back of my pickup whilst towing , just to keep the FS as light and as Simple as possible ...The FS will basically stay Empty , till we get ready to use it... and with a week of “lead time" that’s not a problem loading up for a trip (Bugout)... Easy to keep clean , easy to monitor any potential problems that may (or may not) develop ... and I can move it around the yard with just my trailer dolly ... Big as it is , it’s still pretty light , and it rolls fine now on the new tires that actually hold air .. I should have gotten rid of those old flat dogs a long time ago ...

Trailer lights ... Looking at these trailer lights , and all the other little LED marker lights we have , I’m seriously considering doing All the trailer wiring Inside the trailer ... and not attached to the frame like is customarily done... Keeps the wiring neat and out of the weather and anything else that may damage it later ... Plenty of places to make clean wire runs inside .. like a Boat ... and I could just pull the main cable with the TV connector inside so it wouldn’t corrode and become problematic...

Being OLD , I’m just trying to keep overall maintenance to a minimum ... Something we learned from the first two trailers .. ;) This one will , after all, be living Outside in the weather , we know from prior experience, Foam will handle this with No problem ..

What more can I say, it looks great!
Must admit at first when I saw the one pic with the tree in the foreground, I thought maybe you were going to paint a mural on it. But then realized it was a tree in the foreground.

as always, love seeing the progress shots. That two tone is handsome! I bet if you 'had to' you could use it for its intended purpose 'now'... it might take you a half a day to get the lights on, lock installed, but if you truly had to bug out, you've got your shelter. Would it be 'done'? absolutely not, but throw a mattress, a couple of folding chairs, etc... in and you're on the road creeping out of town.

Can't wait to see what you do with the interior.
