Thanks K for reminding me,

Hey I did forget to tell : I did sleep in the tear every night. I just threw in my small four inch foam mattress, single bed size, and sheets and covers, pillow and slept just fine!!! I put the easy up over it so even when it rained it was fine, no water. I even got hot about 3-4 oclock, I had to open the hatch some to get some cool air in. :fan:

I will get the hinge on the hatch finished and put the canvas around the hatch edges in the next couple of weeks. I have a bunch of house things to do over the next couple of weeks too. so I think things will move at a slower pace now.

Here is one from the Ind Star coverage. Can't tell if you are praying to the rain gods or coaxing the pvc porch to stay in place....... :D

I took the boards off that were around the base and my fellow tearjerkers lifted up the top and we ladies glued and tucked the canvas up under the top. these pictures were taken before I left home

You must try the Steam iron trick !!! Especially if there is glue underneath already ... I use an iron all the time , and wonder why there’s so much resistance to the idea... it Works .... just don’t set it too high or you’ll deform the foam (melt) medium is OK ... ;) You can even use a small spray bottle of water to pre-dampen the canvas...

... and Thanks for the :pictures:

I found a trailer for $75 gonna get it. Ok I never never said I did not have the TD fever, legitament disease. I have a friend who is into biology and psyc. She is saying there needs to be a study on the subject!!!! It is a smaller, lighter and I am going to get a new axle for it . That one is going to take a lot of work. In the mean time I can be camping!!!!

I think that the steam iron would work well. In addition to the glue, you might get it tighten up due to some shrinkage.

Check Lowes for syringes - they ought to be with the fiberglassing stuff.
There's got to be an award for the earliest a foamie has been camped in !
