A while ago I bought a FF 4000 from an RV salvage yard. Cheap enough and in good enough shape. Now that the ToyBox is starting to look like a camper it's time to think about cutting a hole in the roof...gotta be careful!
Before I added the frame and box stretch to the ToyBox I had the FF fan mounted vertically on the back. Well...I furgot about it...and backed into a tree cracking the dome. While I was looking for a replacement dome I found the FF vent covers. I had a couple of questions so I called FF customer service. When I told the lady that I'd cracked my FF dome she told me that it was guaranteed for life...free replacement! Wow!
Today I ordered the new dome. It cost me $13 for shipping...a bit inflated...but!!!...cheaper than buying the dome from a vendor and paying shipping on top of that!
It will be here next week. Then I can cut a hole in the roof of the ToyBox stretch.
Today I cut a hole in the sidewall for the 120v AC unit. It's going to be removable because I'm not likely to need it and/or be around shore power.
I feel like I'm riding shirt tails since I bought the FF fan used. ON the other hand the FF customer service rep made the offer to me...so...it goes on!
