Dry today :o , so the floor got the second coat of paint ... Finally :R ... Mini Galley wall is finally dry/cured , ready to put up tomorrow (oddly enough it’s supposed to be Dry tomorrow too ) ... Got the parts , ready to start !!! :D
... not going to be any fancy cabinetry , basically just some shelves above the Ice chest (1 of 2)... Still trying to mind the weight ... Don’t want to be towing another Porker'... So easy to add extra weight here and there... Hard to remove later ...

Keeping our collective fingers crossed for you GPW. Now that you're ready to bug out, that's good, but I really hope you don't need to.

Mel, we may just get Lucky !!!! I just hope Nobody gets a bad storm this year, or ever ... Wouldn’t that be Nice !!! ;)

Hoping for the best , now that I just got the house painted , the garden all arranged, and the yard looking good ... bad time to undo all that ... :o

So as not to dwell on the negative , we’ll just keep working away on the FS ... whatever happens ... Focusing on the Positive !!!! ... :worship: we don’t get the other ....

Got the Mini Galley framing all done ... Now we just have to make some shelves , add the runners for the wire drawer and paint it all up... :D
We did add everything with screws , originally the wall was to be glued to the rib , but that was not done in case we wanted to expand/modify the Galley later ...

Looks like a good spot for it - if needed you can stick an exhaust fan in that back wall. Or do you figure you'll just open the door to get rid rid of the heat/condensation form cooking, making tea, etc ?
Unlike a stick-and-staple rig, you don't have any wood framing to absorb all that moisture over time

I see you got the weatherstrip on the door as well. Is that foam tape or that D-shaped hollow tape ?
I'm thinking of foam tape because it won't tear as easily, but I don't know if a foam door is stiff enough to compress it all the way around.

Somewhere in the back of your mind, are you secretly hoping for an evac to test it out ?

W2, still out on the vent question ... I dunno’ ... but the windows can all be opened for a little circulation , got screens , so no skeeters' can sneak in ... Still working on the upper vent idea, likely somewhere over the potty ... Many things can be added ... later... ;)
Got the hollow D with the ridges for weatherstrip... seems to work OK , I got a tiny bit of water in by the door during the last Deluge :o ... but the trailer is parked nose down at the moment , so I keep a towel there just in case... Soon as I get it “legal” am going to park it in a nice Level part of the driveway where we traditionally keep our main trailer ...

Somewhere in the back of my mind .... er, ... NO!!! Definitely Not !!! :frightened: I can test it just fine in the driveway ...

KC, Thanks ... coming along ... :sweaty:

With your mini galley next to the door, you can set up your camp stove or barbecue outside, next to the door, and just reach inside for whatever you need. Yet, if weather is too cold or bad, you have the option of cooking indoors.

Sharon, that was the idea’ ... BBQ outside ... make coffee and sandwiches inside ... Actually with my new “lifestyle change” (Diet) , there won’t be much of that going on anyway ... (as of today , I’ve lost 35 pounds in about a year ...) More room in the FoamStream ...2 less bowling balls to carry around all day ...

Tac , got the weatherstrip at Loew’s ... although I’m not a big fan of that place...

Camping ... probably Not , but maybe ... :NC

Today is cutting the shelves , fitting the basket , and hopefully painting all that ... Tomorrow is a Tropical deluge on the way ... :frightened: Just the beginning ... :o

Looking very good. I am so impressed. I guess i am taking a forced "break" from building but I will get going again. in the mean time I am gathering ideas and reading up on the forum as much as I can on other builds for my much planned second build. GPW I almost feel guilty re watching your builds and all of the other builds getting ideas, So many new and wonderful Ideas. I like your dividers but how did you attach them to the ribs? I think a large washer and bolt?

Mary , we attached the foam divider to the rib with 3” drywall screws, and fender washers , and a 3” sunk at an angle into the floor on the bottom of the divider post (wood) .. Knowing how the wife likes to re-decorate ...

Don’t feel Guilty , feel Fortunate!!! It’s so really GREAT we can all SHARE ideas , which can only result in the elevation of the Foami Trailer Craft to “High ART” !!! 8)

Got the shelves in and the sliding drawer runners ... It all works ... The shelves are both 1/4” size plywood which at this size (small) is not only strong enough , but light too ... a little paint and that will be done .... ;)

But Mother’s decided to Rain on us More :rainy: ... close call on that one storm eh ?... so far ... :o  :frightened:

Ps. sorry about the skinny pics ... no way to take a head on shot of the MG and get everything in ...
