I would love to see a step by step of how you will paint that.

I bet you can make it look easy (...now don't be offended by this next part) ...just like an experienced plasterer with a big hod of mud and a 12 inch blade who makes it look easy getting a perfectly flat wall in one big easy stroke. "The almighty brush" - Bob Ross.

I have a lot of respect for a master craftsman who knows his trade and his tools. Takes time and effort to make it look easy.

+1 I stated in the past that I would have loved to paint the "japanese tsunami"on my Road Foamie. Besides being short of time, I really think I'm short of skill. Anyone can buy the tools, it takes a craftsman to make the tools create a work of art... Face it GPW, you are the envy of the rest of us. We're not worthy!!

Mel, remember how we did the FS “logo” ... Thats a good way to get your “Wave” transferred to the trailer ... Tedious punching all those holes , but Easy to do ... Once you get the drawing on the wall , just paint in the colors (like paint by number) The original was a wood block print so all the colors are flat , little blending ... On the other side , you flip the “holy” paper and paint it in reverse.. It would be COOL on a trailer eh !!!

Got the sky done ... You can see it’s already pretty much developed (shapes )... Due to the terraced effect of my foam construction ( ) I’ll have to place the moon a little lower on the horizon than the original drawing ...

Here’s the trees , just black paint ... dabbed on the edges to suggest foliage ...
Unfortunately , I have to wait for all this to dry before we can add the moon and stars ... Everything drying slowly in the rain ...

Ran' , could have drawn rocks instead of trees ... but that’s another lesson eh ???

How about adding in some Aurora or noctilucent clouds to disguise the unevenness.

Yup, GPW, that's the tsunami wave I was talking about. Very famous print. maybe one of these days when the rest of the trailer is totally done... I've been told that NEVER happens... Always, just one more thing... But it would be very cool!
