I don't think putting one together from scratch would be difficult at all. It's 5 pieces, including the trailer. I think the body only bolts down in 3 places.
The problem I was having with construction, was which trailer to use. From photos it looks like the distance between springs was about 4 feet. But, the wheels appear to be about 6 feet apart. This means that I would a) have to get a 4 ft trailer and then a longer axle, b) get a 5 ft trailer and then figure out how to mount the cabin or c) have a custom trailer made. Along with transportation costs, all of this adds up to very nearly what I expect for a usable trailer. So I gave up on the idea. I don't know if the one I would like to buy is in as good shape as yours, but it does make for an easier project.
Thanks for the info on getting in and out. I was a bit concerned and my family thinks its too small. It will be fun to see how it all works out.
