SJ, thanks !!! it’s been a long “haul” so to speak ... But Fun !!! :D New rug .... most likely huh ... She did say this one was getting “shabby" ... WhIch I can’t see... It’ll be fine in the trailer ...

Went to the Wal Mart , returned the adapter that did not fit , then to the U-Haul where they tried a couple and then found a rubber one that fit perfectly (U-Haul 14481 ) ... $2 more , but well worth it ... The plastic ones were just too tight ..
Mischief managed, problem solved, obsession over... :phew:

Now to those mudflaps and reflectors ... :D

Reflectors on , mudflaps trimmed to fit , drilled for SS screws and fender washers applied ... all ready to screw to the cross member... Once that gets done , we’re going to Move the FS to it's appointed spot in the drive way where it will now live next to the House ... thus freeing up the driveway next to the Studio , for even more building ... after a short rest for your humble narrator ... :relaxing: ...

Although in complete confidence , we cannot say this project is DONE yet (they’re never really “finished" , are they ? ) ... but it will be easy to do all the little "finishing touches" on a stable LEVEL platform afforded by the new location.

Ps. the wife is now promoting the idea that I SELL the Foamie #1 ... :o :( I’m not sure if we’re down with that ...

Mud flaps on !!! :D I did spray a bit of undercoating over the screws and fender washers , for a little more “protection" ... ;)

FoamStream moved to it’s new home ... :D Party Time !!! :P :dancing

Moving it .... it felt like there was nothing there ... Light !!! Towing should be easy ... especially at 4.75 mph :R

Ps. I really have to do something with that All Steel cargo trailer behind the FS .... the poor little thing is built like a tank , and is just sitting there going to ruin ...

And as you can see , we’re not that far from camping in the woods ... :o

Maybe try your local Craig's List?

Put the word out to your network of local friends.

If you were closer to Mn it would be mine already. I would love to try my hand at making it into a little camper my kids could borrow.
No time for a road trip, someone is going to get a good little cargo.

KC , Tried CL ... and got the usual scams ... “I’ll send somebody with a check to pick it up “ And a few unreasonable offers ... Nobody came out to even look at it ...
PK, That’s a good ways from here... :o Must be Nice this time of year ? :)

Now that I have a little more Time , I may have to pull it out and start working on it ... I did have plans for it originally , but the size was “too small" for “herself"... 4’X8’ ... Could be fun to work on cause’ we can fit it in the Studio .. (air conditioned) 8) Was thinking about installing a Mini Galley , a little paint and a rug ... Guess I could paint a nice mural on the outside , but would no longer be Stealth ... a bit of flash , another “roadside attraction “ ...
The wife wanted BIGGER , now she’s got it ... and Happy ... :D She’d be happier with only the one trailer in the yard , there’s only 5 now :o (counting the boat) ... Hey anybody need a Boat and trailer for a GOOD price ... ? I got it from Vinnie' , but never could afford an outboard for it .. :duh: More to pull out and clean up ... There goes all that extra time ...

Not to be repetitive, but just FYI, I posted in the Big thread the FS cost up to this point ... ~$1690 ... Plus whatever comes later ...

More than I wanted to spend. Less than I could have spent ...

WOW, that little cargo trailer would sell fast up here for that price. My club was looking for something like that a few years ago, every one I called on for under $1000 was sold in hours, we ended up paying $800 for one that doesn't look half as nice.

SJ, I think the fact that this is “homemade" affects the desirability factor ... not really fancy at all , but heck for stout .. Thinking every body would prefer Fancy to overbuilt ... here anyway ... I dunno’ ???

That and around here , everybody’s looking for a LARGER cargo trailer ... to use for a business ... All the gardening and landscaping guys have Huge cargo trailers ...

you know... the slow hurricane season is all your fault! you built an evac trailer, so no real storms will come this season. Up here we eagerly (well those of us still young at heart) await the snow. It is a proven fact that a new snow plow, snow blower, snow mobile, or even skis will bring a total lack of snow :( :( :(
just make sure HRH doesn't make you sell the foamstream instead...
