Boy am I relieved to hear I'm still younger than somebody. By several weeks in your case. It's the little things that keep me going.

The rougher texture is good to help keep things from slipping around easily. Subtle but effective. But then it's also slightly less easy to clean when the syrup gets spilt and sits on there for a couple days in the heat. But you're probably better at those things than I.

GPW make a small table cloth you can get one of the felt backed and cut it up and hem the edges. you can make several. then you can wipe it up real easy!!!! or cover it in plexie when you use it.

Kinda, She's happy with the way that this one turned out. But as I talk about taking this to the next level, her doubt also increases. My plan is gentle pressure, relentlessly applied over the next few years. A subtle hint here, a gentle nudge there. I've got time and treachery on my side... 8) 8)

And a BIG Happy Birthday to you!!!  Cheers and here's to many more!!!. I don't know about you, but as I get older, birthdays mean more and more to me. When I was younger, I hardly cared, as I get older I cherish and relish them

Got the final paint on the table .... here’s a pic of the top (not quite dry yet) showing the “texturing" ... It’s really Not “that" textured huh? ... :NC Looks like painted plywood ... which it is ... and scraps too ... basically a FREE table .... Salvage !!! Don’t toss out those wood scraps yet ... ;)

Maybe cover it in canvas to match the rest of FS someday...

Mike , or a formica top ... lots of possibilities ... Unfortunately I don’t have a scrap of the leftover FS canvas big enough to cover the table top ... 30 yards and used most All of it ... :o

Randy , Thanks , just another little thing to cross off the list ... :D

I guess next is drilling the hole in the floor for the "electrical system” ...

Our Bass player (my lawyer) brought a legal DMV form to be filled out authenticating the “homemade" trailer .... Gotta’ get that done ... and soon too ... “H.R.H." is on me about that daily ... :frightened:
