Here's a pic of the one I know about here in Redding. What's left of the tent is just enough to use as a pattern to make a new one ... and it is so worn, tattered and fragile that we decided not to even try to put it up for the series of photos I took. But, if you look closely and use just the right amount of imagination, I think you can get an idea of what it would look like with the tent in place. This pic also shows the proper pipe-bunk(s) pulled out & extended for use.

The one that Rob mentioned that used to show up at the Salt Flats occasionally eventually ended up with a tent, but it was all fabricated from imagination ... the one here in Redding is the only one I know of with an original tent, and he's not willing to loan his out for anyone to copy (unfortunately), and I also know that he has turned down some really serious (and generous!) offers for it. I do know that IF and WHEN he is ever ready to sell it, though, I'm first on the list of many people he can/will call ...
