I managed to pick up the 2 5/8 hole saw today at Home Depot for about $13. I used brass stock for the cover plate and have a couple more so I can redo another one with a neat hole, use that as the guide for the final hole widening. And yes slow there are some projects where a stick of 20%... :cigar:

Glad you got fixed Shado, I found this a fascinating thread reading all the clever ways our fellow builders got round the problem.
A person can never own too many tools or have too many ideas or have too much interesting and useful stuff in the garage.

I managed to finish the install today, Here are the before and after. Note in the after shot the reading of the voltage from the solar panel which is in full shade.

Dang fine fix.

I've got two 30 watt panels coming this week. What's the 3008 mean?

30.08 volts, the comment was more for those who are contemplating solar. The point is that a high voltage panel produces usable current when a conventional 12V panel is not producing anything.
