I've been lurking for a while, drooling over builds and dreaming of having a teardrop. Sketched up a version of my 'ideal tiny trailer' and was seriously considering tackling a build, despite my limited building experience. Somewhat dreading the experience since I don't have a garage and would have to do the entire build in my carport. Then lo' and behold! A solution! A teardrop that I had seen for sale on Craigslist in my area, was up for sale again! Yippee!!! Managed to buy a trailer from tntt's own Twilight Lane. His build was based on the Kuffle Creek plans and it's 99% finished. Just what I needed! I get to add my own 'finishing touches' but all the parts of the build that I was dreading are already done. A hatch latch here, a few new door seals there, some colofrul new paint (including painting two monkeys and the moniker 'Monkeying Around' on the back) and viola! I'll be off and camping in style this spring.

My camping companion, my 7 year old son, is as extatic as I am about our new trailer. He even agreed to getting fewer presents this Christmas so that we could afford it. His favorite feature is the bookshelf with adjustable bookends so that your books don't fall off the shelves while you're towing. He's already confirmed that all of his Diary of a Wimpy Kid books will fit on 'his' shelf.
I'm looking forward to all the wonderful tips, tricks and advice that I can get from my fellow tnttt contributors. As a newbie, I know there's lots to be learned!
