the only advantage I see here is interior light, for heat the exhaust is placed so high you will get some, but most will run right out the top. in a tiny space like the pod It would be fine, especially for someone aclimated to the outdoors most of the day.
for those of us who live in houses, cars, and other heated spaces I don't see nearlly the efficiency the boxes of the cookie box heater give, each box traps a pool of heated air in the top (as long the the air passages and exhaust are placed low) forcing most of the heat into the metal.
of course in this heater you want a good flow of air, otherwise the glass will soot up quickly
