in Ga if you are over 1000 pounds then your vehicle has to be registered and that is where the new vehicle tax comes in. I paid $12.00 for my tag. The tax on the tag was $4.00. It was not over 1000 pounds. Had I registered it the tax is much greater. essentially a sales tax, Tag, and tax on the tag. We used to pay a decreasing advelorum tax, but that was changed last year, now it is tied with the registration and if under $1000 pounds we don't have to pay it. Georgia thought they were missing the sales taxes on used cars that were not sold by stores but individuals. and some how they changed the rules for trailers because of the weight. Ga decided that the sales taxes weren't worth causing problems with the Tag offices. Depending on the type and what it is used for tags are generally easy, if just a homemade trailer it is easy to tag them.

Glad you found me. So you like the foamies? I decided on mine because of the weight, money, and the weight of the building supplies. I have no problem pulling it with my little car. Welcome to the foamie section.

That's way too decedent for me!!!

If I was a bear trying to get ready to hibernate, I might consider that instead of berries... but for my normal sedentary self, I'd better stick to something a little less sweet! :D

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. I now have two foam projects to get finished. I am still working on Grits a little at a time. Going out to measure for another piece of foam to be used on the inside. I may go to the wood store to get some 1x2s to frame up some shelves for it too. now that I feel better I want to work on a whole bunch of things and heaven knows there is house work too.

I was given this cooler for my birthday and my friend gave me the rack. I have to bend it too fit. the first picture shows that the rack is too large and I would think if I bent it It will fit on the second ledge. I can then put Ice and sealed drinks below the rack and put a pan like square cake pan above and the rack will hold it up so my open hot dogs wont fall into the ice and water.

I will try to bend it up tomorrow!!!

Well, got er done!!!

I had to use the vise and a hammer.

I can cut two inches off a milk carton and use that for Ice. Or to keep things frozen I can put dry ice in the top portion and the food in the bottom, that will work. I plan on making another cooler but time will tell what I end up with. I just have to watch the weight.

Any ideas on how to mount a turn shelf. I want one that will turn out. I plan to make the shelf out of 1x8s with a 1x1 frame around the top How would I attach in one corner some type of hinge? I want to be able to stand at the back of the TD and twist out the shelf and put a brace under it . the mounting will go through 3/8 OSB and 3/4 pine plank. I am not an artist but see if you can understand this:
