I'm not a fan of the color combo, but maybe that is just the rendering... or me. With yellow, I prefer black or purple, but that is just me.

On the pattern, I think if you include a similar curl upward to what you have at the front, it would tie the top profile curve into the graphic better. Just mirror the shape you have under the line so that it recurs above.

I LOVE the color combination. That will be a real eye catcher, and it's so bright and cheery. I kind of has a Miami vibe to it.

I used 1/2" striping on the Road Foamie, to border the blue at the bottom, I used yellow on the white. It looks good from close up but doesn't show up from a distance. I should have used a dark color over the white, I really shoulda used red like GPW suggested, but I don't like red. (It's a UCLA vs USC thing) So choose your contrasting color wisely, but I would definitely use a colored stripe to contrast. I covered my Road Foamie with fiberglass so I had a nice smooth surface and the vinyl striping sticks very well. I'm glad I did not hand paint it. Even the thought of masking for the trim stripe seemed like a daunting task to me. So glad I used vinyl striping. The navy blue tongue box is covered in canvas and the texture of the canvas seems to make it difficult for the vinyl striping to stick. In fact, it didn't stick so I ended up pulling it off. As far as the masking tape, I try to let it dry a bit before I pull it, too long and you pull paint with it, not long enough and the lines don't stay sharp. And make sure you pull it off at a diagonal. If you pull it straight off, it seems to peel some paint with it.

In my opinion those colors are OK but yellow and a darker blue always catches my eye.... Good Luck, do what pleases your eye.

Had nice weather yesterday, Yea !
So I was able to paint the inside grey. It was previously purple.

and I got the plastic corners glued in with Gripper.

When last seen, The Big Pink bed support was raw foam with plastic corner molding installed.
This weekend I was able to cover all that with canvas and paint. It looks better in person than the pictures

I'm not as young as I used to be... all that bending, and stooping sure makes muscles hurt that haven't been used in awhile ... :shock:

and I'm making another goose/ swan decoy out of the leftovers.

I finished the bed platform today, It was originally one solid platform designed to be lifted for storage under bed.
As previously shown, a lot of the foam was removed.
I cut the platform into two pieces (where the foam support remained)
The back piece broke when I picked it up due to a split in one of the boards. So I trimmed it square on both sides. I hinged both pieces on the back, and put finger holes to lift with. You can see where I added a support in the middle to support the middle.
The front piece is now fixed in place, and will get sliding doors underneath.

It was dark at night inside the TD, so I added a light.
I added a cedar fence board (painted to match) to mount the light. I still want to hide the wires a little better ... and clean it up. The fan is a quick disconnect for now.

I had too much light in the TD now, so to let a little bit out I cut a hole in the side where I added a vent ...

YOu have a bed in there now. Time for a test sleep.

I slept in mine before all of the roof, any gallery or back doors/hatch. or even cabin door

I like my trailer dark inside, so I use my windows as photonic vents when too much build-up occurs. However, I fear that someday I will be found to be in violation of anti-photon pollution laws if I am not careful...so I use dimmable low-light LEDs, mostly. But, then, I always favored the "dark side" of the force....

WOW!!!! you are doing a great job TAC. I like the color. It is great but I may have the same problem with the "too much light " so, where did you get the vent?
