Here are some better pictures of my fold down beds. There are removable side rails not pictured as well that fit in the slots at the corners of the frame. The bed frames are a full 8 foot long and the mattresses are around 80 inches allowing an extra ledge to store a book, tap light, phone, or the occasional 1911...

Test fitting of the cabinet I'm going to modify into my Potty storage/bench. And you can see some overhead cabinets that are going to be installed over the counter-top.

The other project I'm working on right now is a pair of tongue boxes for the front of the trailer. Since my trailer is a V front I'm planning on putting two trailer tongue boxes on the front with a LP bottle between them. There is also a possibility that these boxes could hold up to 4 6V golf cart batteries in the future (two in each box, close to 300 lbs total), so I need to make sure the mount is plenty sturdy. I also measured how much clearance I have between the truck and trailer when the trailer is 90 degrees to the truck to make sure I won't hit the boxes when backing. With these boxes I only have a little over 1" of clearance when jackknifed.

Here is one of the boxes I will be using. They are from Harbor Fright I've only bought one so far, but for the price, they seem to be great quality. Especially since I'm using 20% coupons when I buy them :D I think I will bedliner the front of them though to make sure they stay looking good for a few years.

Here is the beginning of the frame. It will be clamped to the 2x4" steel tongue of the trailer. It is made from 10ga 2x2 square tube.

To take advantage of the battery power once I get the boxes done. I've got a 2000w continuous 4000w max Pure Sine inverter on the way. I got one of these (http://www.amazon.com/Samlex-America-SS ... SSW200012A) I chose it because of it has good reviews and it comes with a nice remote/display panel that shows the battery voltage and the output of the inverter. It should be able to provide me with plenty of AC power and be able to run the AC for a couple hours off the batteries if needed (I'm not planning on doing this on a regular basis, but it's nice to know I have the capability.)

I got my overhead cabinets done and the removable cabinet/bench all ready to go. The moveable black cabinet is the size of most pop up trailer dinets, so I have a cushion coming for the top of it. It will also serve to make it easier to get into my high fold down bed. Right now I just have it set up to hold the potty for storage/transport and we will pull it out as needed. If this proves to be too much of a pain I already have a plan to put the potty on a slider so you could open the door and slide the potty out when needed on some heavy duty drawer slides.

Great looking trailer. I really like how you solved the problem of beds with a full load of cargo. With using the e-track do you ever put one or both beds down lower for when the cargo is out or shifted just to one side?

At this point I haven't lowered the beds. Mostly because I have only slept in the trailer for business related trips at this point. I would like to figure out a way to convert one of them into a couch for regular camping at some time though. I also have an idea to add a center part into the slots used for the side rails to make one large bed as well. But until I can figure out a way to make the center part also act as the back portion of the couch I am holding off on doing either one because I want to make sure I can either fold or stow that part against the wall like the beds.

Trailer tongue box mount is finally to the paint stage. Had to change it up a bit to keep the operation of the jack in the same spot. It's going to be painted black, then both the boxes and mount will be bed linered.

Trailer tongue battery box is done. I still need to get a box for the other side.

How the mount is secured to the trailer tongue.

Two golf cart batteries inside wired with 1/0 wire and a 300amp circuit breaker for safety. I still need to make some battery hold downs.

Wire path.

Power inverter and beginings of the remote control light wiring and fuse block.

That looks great! Very professional. Are you worried that it will restrict your turning radius at all?

I measured how much room I have between the bumper and the trailer before building the boxes and I should still have about an inch and a half clearance when the trailer is 90 degrees to the truck.

nice work :applause:

I was looking at ways to do the same on my trailer, looks like you have it figured perfectly :D

adding a load of standing weight to the tongue can be nice especially if you are hauling a lite trailer, just be careful you don't end up overdoing you hitch / tongue weight limit when your hauling a load.
looking in as many places as possible

Looking great. Nice work.
And it is interesting that a Propane tank could fit it the middle. Looks like that space was made for it. (I realize it was not).

I was going to try to put a propane tank up there, but I would need to have it fairly high up to keep operation of the trailer jack, and I don't really want to move the jack to the outside of the "V" either. For right now the tank will just get thrown in the bed of the truck when I need heat in the winter months. I use the small camping style ones for my camp stove.
