Still trying to navigate my away around the rules, how to post pics, create a gallery and the plethora of other info needed to be a fully fledged member of this forum! Give me time, I will get there! (At this point I can't even work out how to change my password)

So here's my story - no, I am not a complete ditz (do you guys use that word here?) I am the editor of Vintage Caravan Magazine based in Australia and I am mad passionate keen on trailers (we call them caravans). Two years ago I bought a tiny canned ham from outside a swap meet in Reno. It is a 1949 Crown about ten feet long in full aluminum.
It has been stored in a shed in my sister's house in Oregon, which is where I am at the moment as the process of the rebuild begins... daunting seeing as she suffered some serious damage in transit from Nevada due to broken windows letting air inside her (fatal error I have made only once in my life) but I wasn't there when she was relocated so supervise and now half of her roof lining is missing... such is life! She needs a complete rebuild anyway.
Lucky for me, my fiance is a hot rodding guy and he has been out there the last couple of days, changing the axel (as she sat WAY too high!) and putting on new smaller wheels - giving her a much better stance and what he calls "an altitude adjustment"
I am looking forward to hearing more about your builds/restorations and getting sources for information and supplies that we may need, and, once she is all done, hitting the road and hopefully going on a rally or two, lots of very long road trips and hopefully meeting some of you out there!
So, that's it from me for now - I'm off to read up some more and get better acquainted with this forum!
Cheers,
Lisa
