I used 5x10 5052 aluminum sheets 0.032 thick. I used RV trim for the curved trim over the top of the teardrop. I used wide lip RV trim for on the galley hatch. I used 1 inch angle, 6061 I am pretty sure, for the straight trim. I used 1 inch angle with one leg ripped down to about 1/2 inch (to make it easier to bend) for door opening trim and galley side walls. Ripping aluminum was easier than I thought, just take it slow and wear safety glasses! I used some special aluminum T molding for around the doors. I ordered the RV an T trim from Grant at littlebear. All the rest I got at a local steel supply.
I added up all the butyl tape that I used once... Something like 200 feet! All that trim adds up.
I would not want to use the 2-foot roll aluminum... Too many laps and splices! If you did it right, it should be fine, but... shudder... I know I couldn't get that right. One of the big points in aluminum for me was the big sheets with no holes.

... But then I promptly cut doors holes into them.

Anyway, you get the idea.
