Doesn't that depend of the ratio of Drinkin to Thinkin?

It all depends on weather you thinking Whitworth, Metric or Standard!

I like the Standard.

Awesome! You use so little of the original trailer, I wonder why you don't just start completely fresh!

I found a few more "Boogy Men" I had to take care of before I could install and move the new axle forward.

First off the dropped floor came back into the new axle area so I had to shorten the dropped area. Did so by using the handy mans second secret weapon, Bed Rail. I added more steel to the outside perimeter of the dropped area to give all corners some positive support, removed the old axle and installed the new one 6" ahead of the old.

THEN THE RAIN CAME!

All I have left on the frame is to cut the tails off the end of the frame to make it a 13'er but I don't think I'll do that till I make the side walls.

Hope to have the floor done and Tared by Sunday.

Happy Trails

Yeah, and with the grooves running the right way, too! Look at that; there's something you don't see everyday.

Change in Plans for tomorrow......

I was going to start the inside ceiling, But...

I followed my profile drawings to a "T" based on the original 13' HiLander and remember, it was a prototype and the first one with a "Hump" but I don't like the original Hump. I'll be re-doing it to be more like most HiLanders tomorrow. This one is at about a 22.5 degree incline and most others are at about a 45 degree.

Well I got the "Hump" thing all straightened out today, made all the cut outs and tomorrow I'll be installing all the Cleats for the bed, dinette, Potty Room and so on.

Big hump seems more like 90•. Where are you measuring 22.5?

Not much difference in looks. You still have that vintage feel. But the aerodynamics should be better. Good call.
