Hello, Long Time, No Post! But I am back with some updates. Over the winter I upgraded my floor. If you read my thread from the beginning you know I used coin tread "G Floor". The problem with that product is it expands and contracts alot with temperature changes so it has to be free floating. I put Deck Restore on my ramp so I decided to go with a darker color and do the entire interior. I was able to level some spots and build it up in some areas. Thicker areas took over a week to fully dry so there was some shrinkage. I used the special roller on the first application and then brushed it 2-3 more times so it is more smooth. I used a spackle blade to fill over holes. I cut the G Floor mat and use it as a protector now for when I roll in things with black tires which mark it up. The deck restore does get dirty so it is a bit splochy in the photo. So far the Deck Restore has been a great choice. It has some flex to it and is a bit soft. It did crack along where the plywood butts together but that isn't a big deal and I expected that because the ramp did the same thing. I believe Rustoleum reformulated it a few years ago to make it stick better. I did prepare the plywood by using a sander and roughing it up first. Then I used the recommended primer. But the earlier formulation is used on my ramp and it has held up fine straight on the bare wood.

I also installed an escape hatch in the floor. I have no windows (because Zombies can see you) so I needed a way to get out if the door gets blocked. Now I can escape out the bottom.

I used stainless steel boat hardware and built up the Deck Restore around it so it was flush.
This is also a good ventilation hole.
One more little thing: I am paranoid about being rear ended by kids texting on their phones. So I installed a really obnoxious flashing triangle LED brake light. Sorry I can't show you how bright it is but believe me it gets peoples attention. The bars and flasher are available on amazon if you want the part numbers. I wanted a Yosemite Sam tire cover but all I could find was Taz but he works too. I don't know why I blocked out my license tag. Like who is going to come looking for ME??

My next post will talk about the hitch, weight of truck and trailer and towing which has been a problem for me. It turns out my Ram Diesel 2500 and 7000 lb trailer are fully at capacity!
