What's in a name?

Do you have a name for your teardrop?
What's the story behind it?
It's a good life!

My teardrop is named Berty. My class C is named Bertha and since the teardrop was smaller I thought Berty was a good choice.

"Solitude"------named after railroad photographer O Winston Link's photo "Solitude Siding".

Bob, recently retired from his job as a custodian in a middle school for the last 28 years, and I (not actually a people person) have worked surrounded by people in big box retail for the last 23 (retirement still far off). So we prefer getting away,----far, far away----looking for a reasonable amount of blissful peace, quiet and sweet "solitude" in our camping adventures. He and I also enjoy anything to do with railroading, including model trains---He's into HO scale, I'm working in N Scale. I was a Fine Art major in school and love Link's photography (Edward Hopper is a favorite too, hence the painting of "Gas" hung in the teardrop). Bob showed me the photo of "Solitude Siding" in an O Winston Link calendar and when he discovered how much I liked the photo, he matted and framed the calendar page for me. Have it hanging in my craft/computer/sewing/train and everything else room. Got to find a place for a small copy of it in the teardrop.

Mine is "Woodybago" because it's a woody design.

My other is the "Slowmobile" built to be light weight so I could attend the Walk the Winds gathering in WY and meet Slow Cowboy.

"Interstate Explorer" name says it all.

The "Redneck Teepee" because I'm a red neck and I tow it from camp to camp just like the Indian's did, but my horse is a truck. :D
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

"4-Day Weekender"
Since I went to 5' wide, added a few creature comforts, and included additional storage over the basic Weekender design.

Haven't named it yet, but am thinking of "Shenandoah" (Blue Ridge Runner) because for almost 50 years I have lived in the Shenandoah Valley, VA.
