Thanks so much. I am a rough carpenter at best and I always looks for ways to work with the tools I have at hand. My power center is a Progressive Dynamics PD4045 with a built in charger. I have it located in the center of my galley. My battery is located in the tongue box.

Decided to get the painted aluminum sheets instead of painting the side walls. This will save me a ton of work.

Just scored two 3" queen size memory foam/support foam bed toppers for my mattress at Wally World for $31 ea. A 5" queen size sheet of regular foam from Foam World is $116 not counting shipping. Woo Hoo!

Squirted a bead of 3M 4200 marine adhesive around the outer margin of the wall and all holes and openings and secured the first wall in place while it cures. This secured the aluminum to the wall and will allow it to flex with any changes in temperature. Those who have branded this adhesive "Evil Black Stuff" will be happy to know it also comes in white

Good to see you treating the wood before applying the aluminum.
Your getting closer to never being done, going to be a good looking little trailer when your done.
The aluminum will be nicer for your advertising decals, then a painted wood surface

Build On !!!
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Thanks, I hope so. I have the driver's side wall up now and clamped, waiting for the glue to cure overnight. The aluminum will also save me a bunch of time over painting. While the glue cures I'll start planning and gathering materials for the hatch.

Prepared a template for the ribs of my hatch from a scrap piece of luan. The ribs will be made from 3/4" birch plywood. i will rough cut them with a jigsaw then use the router to match the template and then clamp them together and use a belt sander to even them out.

I like the idea of the slide bolt on the cooler...but what will keep it from vibrating open?

I believe so. The bolt fits snug and does not slide easily. I guess a road test will prove for sure.
