Oh, I could think of a few more just off hand, and a bunch more if I really thought about it. Just depends on what folks are looking for, convenient travel routes to other destinations on the same trip, time of year, length of stay, etc. Its really hard to go wrong anywhere in the central Rockies. Parks, Forests, and wide open spaces. The "season" is June to September for the most part though. Early October if you have heat and aren't afraid of a little snow. Cindy (Rainier70) knows Idaho and the surrounding area like the back of her hand and could chime in too.
I would envision someplace where a bunch of us were parked fairly close together rather than spread out over a few miles. Perhaps even a group campground that could be reserved. That, of course, would mean pay sites. There's off-grid places where we could gather, but no amenities if some wanted those. I'm usually more the loner type, but to meet and see the others on here, I'd work on a few options if I had an idea of how many might show up. Matching everybody's schedules is the big project. Finding a place is much easier once the time and general area is chosen.
