Will get that way soon I think. Of course your signature makes me cry... My parents sold my '47 woody while I was overseas. By the time their letter got to the backwoods of Turkey and I replied, it was gone. My first car and first restore. Miss that thing sooooo much.
Hope to get to both gatherings but need to get everything and test it out, don't want any more surprises.

Remember life is too short to go on whishing for things.
If you love 47 Woodies? Replace the one you had!
Where there is a will there is a way!
Are we talking a trailer or a wagon here?

'47 4 cylinder F-head, 3 speed on the column with a two speed overdrive Imperial Beach surf wagon. I bought it as junk for $400 in 1965, stripped it down, rebuilt engine, transmission, restored all the oak. Then I got my license and learned to drive it in the back yard, figure 8's for hours at a time. Even though I was draft-exempt because of on my poor eye sight, I enlisted in the army and was over seas when I dad was relocated by his work and they did not have a place to park it.
Not having a place to even build a tear drop, just not going to have the chance to recreate that part of my youth. Only looking forward to the great adventure ahead of me.
Places to go, things to see, new friends to meet.
