Today I worked on fairing up the TB rim frame and rounding over edges so that the fabric can wrap easier.

Here you can see the curb side front corner rounded on the outside and the inner and outer edges rolled over with a 1/8 inch radius bit.

Curb side rear corner; outside then in.

Next I flipped the box over and rounded the bottom edge where the fabric will wrap under. Here it is lying on the back of the box.

Lastly, I ran the router around the opening of the battery compartment.

Then I gave the whole thing a once over with the spackle.

It was pretty cold out, cold enough to snow.

Thinking about getting back to applying the foam to the front of the cabin, I started to sort out the blocking and mounting brackets for my swap meet shovel. Trying to piece something together from the small bits of maple that I have leftover gave me a few ideas… enough to figure out that I don’t have enough of the stock sizes I would prefer for the design I have in mind (similar to the rifle mounts I made previously).

Looks like you had a nice productive day also. Nice work. Sure is a pleasure to be working in a warm garage when it is snowy outside. We had -22 below this morning. Bryan

.
Thanks RR.

Today and tomorrow are another story; 17 deg F and dropping. I just can't compensate for the heat loss to overcome those numbers and still be productive.

For the next couple of days, "game called on account of weather". :NC

Actually, it hasn't really been that bad, just when it has been cold it has come in snappy (hard cold fast).

Looking good! Glad you're still making progress. It was -4 here yesterday. The very best temp I can maintain in my garage at -4 is 54 degrees. Almost Balmy! ;)

Thanks Atomic. We had a power outage for about 4 hrs the other night (wind) and today it has warmed up enough to snow. Tough to say with the wind, but at least 1-1/2 inches.

I know that is chump change for most regions, but it is enough to make me think twice about heading up the hill tonight.

Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer.
