Today I worked on fairing up the TB rim frame and rounding over edges so that the fabric can wrap easier.
Here you can see the curb side front corner rounded on the outside and the inner and outer edges rolled over with a 1/8 inch radius bit.

Next I flipped the box over and rounded the bottom edge where the fabric will wrap under. Here it is lying on the back of the box.


Lastly, I ran the router around the opening of the battery compartment.


Then I gave the whole thing a once over with the spackle.


It was pretty cold out, cold enough to snow.

Thinking about getting back to applying the foam to the front of the cabin, I started to sort out the blocking and mounting brackets for my swap meet shovel. Trying to piece something together from the small bits of maple that I have leftover gave me a few ideas… enough to figure out that I don’t have enough of the stock sizes I would prefer for the design I have in mind (similar to the rifle mounts I made previously).
