To the best of my knowledge, National Trailer Stores - NTS (the source for all Cubs, Modernistics, & Modernaires, whether in kit form or finished) never stamped serial numbers anywhere on their products. A few of the small companies that built & marketed their kits, like Marvel/Dwyer, have been known to stamp their own serial numbers, but I have no idea as to where to tell you to look. In states like California, the DMV will assign and affix their own serial/registration numbers if there are none already on the trailer, and depending on the locale of the particular office (rural or urban), that could be a real PITA or easy-peasy ...
