Your cargo trailer conversion looks fantastic. I love the size of your trailer and hope to be able to do my own conversion some day.
I noticed in one of your pictures of the air conditioner installation you label the side as "return air vent". I believe this is actually the intake for cooling the compressor and condenser. If so, using conditioned air to cool the compressor and condenser may affect the efficiency of the unit or may not work at all. Usually there are two separate air flow paths for a window unit - one for return and supply conditioned air and one for intake and exhaust of air used for cooling the condenser and compressor. Everything may work fine, but I'd recommend closing the trailer and letting the AC cycle to see how it works.
