New to Cargo Conversion Site

New to this site and we are converting a cargo trailer for our camper. We will be leaving the end of next month going out to Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell, NM for the UFO Festival. Haven't figured out how to download pics yet But will hopefully be able to post the link so all can see what we have done so far. It has been quite the learning experience. Would love to hear what you think so far and anything you see that may be wrong

I wish I had seen your torch groove making technique. It would have saved me a ton of work on my grooves. Neat idea.

Spotman, have a link on the first thread that shows what we have done so far. An Irrowe, yes hubby came up with that idea of the groove making technique sure saved us a bunch of time

Your cargo trailer conversion looks fantastic. I love the size of your trailer and hope to be able to do my own conversion some day.

I noticed in one of your pictures of the air conditioner installation you label the side as "return air vent". I believe this is actually the intake for cooling the compressor and condenser. If so, using conditioned air to cool the compressor and condenser may affect the efficiency of the unit or may not work at all. Usually there are two separate air flow paths for a window unit - one for return and supply conditioned air and one for intake and exhaust of air used for cooling the condenser and compressor. Everything may work fine, but I'd recommend closing the trailer and letting the AC cycle to see how it works.

I'm happy you took a look at it. I really like the layout of your CT conversion. The screen/plexiglass door is a fantastic way to get a lot of light without having too many windows.

I also like the light colored panelling and look forward to more pictures.
