The screws that a torx won't fit are a double square. Get a #2 square bit and it should fit.

You are spot on with your advice. The screws are an 8 point star shape, and the torx bits that I have are all 6 points. I bought a kit that contained a gazillion different bits that included the square bits. The #2 worked beautifully. Thanks!

Windows came yesterday. I went with the 12x24 vertical windows that will fit in between the studs. I will install a header and sill as suggested over in the window installation thread. I had a couple more questions, I will ask over there since it fits better and will benefit more people in that thread.
