Very nice tom.
You could open the hatch either way as long as you have a secure latch you shouldn't have any issues

I am about to finish external part of my trailer. Just need to install kitchen hatch, build lower part of the door and install lock on the upper part, paint elements that surround lower edge of the capsule and finish windows.

Now I spend more time working inside. Installed a wall between main room and a kitchen unit- it is insulated. Perhaps I will change its shape, as I do not like it too much. The sink is installed. Also I built most of the bed constructions. Matresses came, 4 of them, each in other colour. Hope it will look funny, not disguisting.

Tom, the paint turned out very well & looks great!

I'm curious about the aluminum trim over your windows. I can see the lip added above to redirect the rain & water, but what is the extra piece above used for?

I do not know the names of window elements even in Polish. Simply speaking, there are 2 aluminium elements: one, longer, is fixed to the trailer wall. It still needs a plastic trim to cover screws, by the way. Into the bottom part of this element goes another one made from aluminium- this one is connected with a window itself. I can open the window and lock it in various positions, but both aluminium parts are still connected, like hinges.

I wonder if I should add some colour to the trailer. I am thinking about a yellow shapes on sides. Will think about it later, because now I am going to finish interior and start enjoying the trailer, at last!

I agree, perhaps just a red or black pinstripe (maybe 1/2 inch wide) spaced an inch or so away from the edge between the two colors?

Today we have had a first trip to the forest close to my city. It was so much fun! Looks like building a trailer was a great idea.

Second set of pictures. Since tomorrow I concentrate on building a kitchen unit and a big bed (child bedroom is ready). If everything goes good, on weekend we travel by the Baltic Sea.
