Thanks kc.
My hatch actualy finishes short of the bulkhead by a reasonable amount...ive made it 1200mm or 4 foot from the galley floor around the rear radius
Sheddie wrote:Hi Dale, good to see the progress (or it will be when the photos appear) I have been doing a bit of a catch up today on who is up to what, (been a bit preoccupied with some other projects lately). Re the hatch, my one only has 40mm deep ply ribs, 5 of them, and then the acl glued directly on to that. Our first couple of trips away we found it very floppy. Shutting it was a bit of an art as it would twist quite a bit. When I finally got the inner liner fitted, I could not believe how a 3mm sheet of plastic could make such a difference, it is now rock solid. The ribs you are using should be a hell of a lot more solid than the ones on my one.
So, what did your mother think of your camper now that she has seen it in the flesh?

Don't ask me! It hasn't got an engine!! I'm one of the rare kiwis that doesn't follow it much.
How did you get on with the front panel bulge, or did you decide it wasn't all that bad after all? I am sure that no one will notice unless you point it out. It may even flatten out when you get the skin on.
