Cutting into a Cool Gel Memory Foam mattress

Has anyone done this? I need to trim a couple inches. I've cut regular memory foam with no issues, but not sure about the Cool Gel kind.

Paul, especially because there are two different kinds of cool gel memory foam, that may be a question for the manufacturer of the product that you purchased.

I have a vision of you cutting into one and having gel ooze out.

I am happy to report that no gel oozed out. It cut no differently than a regular foam mattress.
