It wouldn't be my choice. Seems impractical. Had one in my little Aliner for a while & quickly discovered some big drawbacks. (Had my old full size mattress upstairs, left after upgrading to a queen.) If you want to retain the adjustable air pressure you need to find a place for that large pump & the hoses that connect mattress to pump. You also need the 110v to power the pump. Of course, you can go without the pump by using the valve caps for the hoses. However, I've found that extremes of temperature really do effect the air pressure in the mattress. There's a big difference in the feel of the mattress between air temps of say 85 deg F and 50 deg F. Heck, I'm rather like the princess & the pea & can notice a difference between 75 deg & 65 deg.
What we currently have in my camper are our two Thermarest pads, side by side, with a full size foam topper. I zipped those into the Select Comfort (Sleep Number) outer mattress cover. It's easy to fold in half in case we need to get to the storage underneath. As a bonus, it's also very easy to get it into & out of the camper.
