led light and switches finished up, one switch is for the outside light. The light is kinda bright, might end up changing it .

The battery as well as the inverter is in an action packer tote on the tongue, you can see it in one of the pictures.

laminate flooring installed and cabinet doors on, still need to figure out some cabinet stays to hold the doors open.

fabbed up a mount for a little 19 inch LED tv, used a weld on hinge so I can just lift it off during transport

first test tow around the block, need to get a hitch with more drop to level it out otherwise it towed really nice

so back to the furnace, i didn't want to mount it inside the camper as it would take up too much space and the fan noise would be annoying in such a small space. Here is a picture of the initial test, it was around -5°c and it kept it nice and toasty. I attempted to sleep in it that night but i ran out of propane around 3 am.

The test was successful so i needed a box to mount the furnace in, i found a small tool box that was the perfect size.

i wanted to keep it portable so i could bring it only when needed. Excited for winter camping now!

Hey guys just a quick update. After using the camper a few times with the furnace here are my findings. We took it out in the fall time with lows around 32°F and the furnace worked great, cycled on and off as it should with the thermostat and we were quite comfortable. Took the camper out again in late November when the temps were colder and had a couple issues that i need to address. When the furnace comes on it has a pre-purge which blows for about a minute before the air is hot, this causes the interior temp to drop quite quickly as the space is so small. The same scenario happens when the furnace shuts off, cold air is blown in causing the thermostat to have a call for heat before the furnace turns off.. I think these problems stem from the furnace being mounted externally and ducted into the front of the camper not the traditional way with the furnace inside the camper. Maybe i need to make an insulated box for the furnace and have insulated ducts . What are your guys thoughts??

I think insulated ducts would help, I'm not sure about a whole insulated box. You could also look at dinosaur boards and see if they have a board that might reduce the blowing.

Just a couple update pictures. We've really enjoyed using the camper the lastest couple years. Here's a few pictures of adventures with the camper as well as some of the upgrades. The awnings and awning room are great and provide a large living space.

Couple of questions:
did you figure out a solution for the heater blowing cold air during start up and shut down?

do you get any dust infiltration or build up on the flat back of your camper?
