Its a great idea. Unlke plywood, Tyvek is made to be used on the exterior of buildings. Its a natural vapor barrier and won't wick moisture, like plywood. Its also thermally stable, so it won't expand and contract with changes in heat and humidity, like plywood. If it is wrapped around the bottom of the plywood, it may help keep moisture out, especially if you seal it with a urethane or similar finish.
