I finally got around to the walls. I'm glad that I bought the biscuit joiner. After the top arch glue joints dry, I'll add the vertical pieces and bottom board.

Finally finished the skeletons. Now getting all of the pieces together to glue them up with 1/4" plywood.

After gluing the skeleton to the inner wall plywood, I cut the 1 5/8" ledge for the spars. I stopped the cut at the forward edge of the upper bulkhead.

Before cutting the rear part of the wall for the galley lid notch, I wanted to confirm that it is 2".

More progress on the walls. I didn't follow the process in Steve's manual to the letter, and now I am finding out why I should have.

Also build the dead man for holding the walls in place while I attach them to the floor. I should have something that will start to resemble a teardrop camper soon

I decided to use pure tung oil on the interior plywood. I've been using RAKA epoxy on the floor, and still intend to use it on all of the external plywood. I think it will protect the wood very well. I haven't mastered applying it with smooth results though. It's on there, but not beautiful. I applied the tung oil per the instructions. It went on really easy with no fuss, and looks great so far with 4 coats. I plan to add two more coats. I bought a quart, and that looks like it will be enough to for the entire interior of the cabin and galley. I was too busy to take pics, but I'll post some pics soon.

More goodies for the TD.

I bought two of these lighting fixtures. One for the cabin and one for the galley.The two lights can be turned on separately. I plan to replace one of the two with a red led bulb so that we can use red lights when needed instead of the white.

Lots of progress this week. The walls are up as of tonight. PL premium drying while the Kreg screws hold it them in place.

Just waiting on a delivery of 5x5 1/8" birch for the ceiling so that's on hold. Time to start on the doors, and maybe the hatch frame in the meantime.

I have installed the door jambs fabricated from1/2" birch ply.

I decided to cut a window in the back wall. Not sure if it's a good idea or not, but I like it for some reason. First ceiling panel is also installed. I'm starting to get to the point where a lot of things have to be done in order. Have to be careful.

Still dreading the hatch and door construction.
