Sorry, I didn't go back far enough. Got to the beginning of plumbing and figured I missed it. You turned an eyesore into something that looks pretty awesome. Nice work!

I believe I misunderstood your question in my earlier response. The brackets that hold the glass in the upright position don't swivel, they are removed completely.
They slide in and out really easy. I will need to stow or hang them somewhere handy when not in use.

Hey, check it out, I finally took a few minutes and added a "Table of Contents" to my first post. I've seen a few of the Tear Droppers add them to their build page.
Looked like a great idea, so now maybe even I can find stuff without going through every page.

I am kind of excited about this project being done. It was kind of a wild Idea but I think it worked.
I started by ordering a couple pieces of tempered glass, and a couple sets of glass hinges, and building
3 little bars that I mounted to my chair rail.

Put it all together and it is my fold down table/tables. If you are having a hard time seeing them, then they are doing their job.
I didn't want to hide the wall with an ugly table.


Tables in the up position. Built braces that slip in from underneath.
Front table is 32"x14" back table is 24"x14"

Thanks, I am enjoying your build as well.

Started fabbing my overhead luggage/storage rack.


Cut and pre drilled a piece of 1/2" baltic birch for the bottom.


After determining where the rack goes, I cut the molding and did a little wildcat drilling to find the roof bows.


I got spooked that just one #10 metal screw into each of 3 roof bows was maybe a little shy.
So I built these pieces to get 2 more screws in each tube. Notice the slight angle cut, this will match the roof slope.




Welded the screw tabs on. 9 screws ought to do the trick.


In the process of lacquering the board. "Why am I floating and everything is spinning"


There she is all mounted. The wall studs were much easier to find since one was exposed from the window cut out.
And YES I plan on getting a more manly sheet for the mattress. Hopefully finish up the rack Mon or Tue. Stay tuned!

Well, don't do anything rash now. There's no mistakin' that's a manly trailer, with the wood and exposed steam punk utility center, and the tin roof wainscoting. And besides that, looks like you could get some pretty sweet dreams with sheets like that..... just sayin'

I think it's going to be OK, It is clean over the wifes head and I guess if I tangle with it too often, I will chop off the corner.
The right side is the only one that has any potential to be in the way. I still have a microwave shelf to mount on the right side.
That should help in keeping some distance from the corner.

This section of the shop was a bit chilli, Broke out the Propane heater to help dry the lacquer.


For a little practice and experience I had my son cut out and weld up the parts for the microwave shelf.
Turned out pretty good. (He's 16)


I haven't used a coping saw in ages, but it was the perfect ticket for this little notch job.
I think, sometimes we get so dependent on power tools we forget how to use hand tools.


The microwave shelf bracket is all mounted.


Shelves are up and covered, yay! Not sure I will do any doors. If I do, it will be a swing down half door across the whole front.
