The roof went on today. Used an old ACM sign that I had laying around. It was in good shape, so why not save a little money??

Here is the sign. We just vinyl wrapped the back side.

The ACM took the curve really well. Used some rachet straps to pull it down into place. The very front will be covered with aluminum diamond plate.

Is your ACM the solid core type, or the hollow core? How thick? I've been considering using ACM in place of plywood when I finally get around to building up my trailer. Seems like a fairly ideal material, if a little expensive upfront.

It's 3mm solid core. It bent really nicely along the roof. The corrugated core material would work well for walls, or if your roof is flat, but it will not bend well.

I have been following this thread with great interest, as I am also looking to use ACP in my build.

Where did you surce the router bits to use on the ACP? Are the bits special ACP bits or just standard wood or aluminium ones?

Have not had much of a chance to work in this for the past month, but spent some time today.

Got the inside galley walls finished out. Used 1/16" lexan, with the same pearl vinyl wrap that we used on the exterior. Held in place with vhb tape. Plan on getting it all trimmed out tomorrow, and then it's finally on to the galley door.

Today we got the roof vent fan installed and wired.

Also got the aluminum trim installed on both sides. The galley walls are now done and trimmed. I guess it's about time to start building that hatch I've been avoiding.

Finished up some odds and ends this week.

The drip caps over the doors are in place.

Trim molding inserts and the galley hatch seals are in.

The trailer side of the galley door hinge is mounted.
