You've really been rolling along with the camper.. and it looks great..
Finally back to working on the Raven, I too have had a problem with the trailer lights. Finally traced it down to a bad wiring harness. Was a short in the 4 way plug on the trailer end..
Glad to see yours coming together so well,, You'll be camping before we are..

Minor updates recently.

Out on my latches and locks. That was a pain because I needed to make acrylic spacers for the latch points to bring them up.

I finally got my struts to work after two sperate strengths and lengths and 4 different mounting locations. I started with 33" and 100lb after using the hatch calculator. My counter being high had a big impact on my positioning and length of struts. And I couldn't close my hatch. I settled with 28" and 75lb. The hatch doesn't go as high as I would like but I don't want to rush buying a 30" and the hatch not being able to close again.

Worked on my galley shelf and galley fuse box that powers the galley light, fridge, and USB\12v outlet.

I know I sound stupid but How do you know what amp fuses you need for each device? I went with 10amp for the lighting and vent fan, 15 for the fridge and 30 for solar charger.

Also mocked up my fenders. One came in dented so I have to wait to receive another one before I can primer, paint, and mount. I have to give it up to etrailer.com, they have great customer service.

I forgot to mention that mcmaster Carr and vintage technologies as well has given me excellent customer as well.

You protect your circuit based on the size of the wire, not the anticipated load.

From Bluesea.com:

Generally, circuit protection devices are installed to protect the wiring from overheating during overloads or faults. The simplest approach for selecting a circuit protection device rating is to choose an amperage rating that is equal to or less than the current rating, ampacity of the wire. If the wire ampacity is significantly greater than the load current, as might be with small loads or with wiring of increased size to reduce voltage drop, then a range of circuit protection values between the load requirement and the wire ampacity may be acceptable. Larger ampacity values reduce the probability of nuisance failures and reduce fuse heating; smaller ampacity values provide more conservative protection for the wiring.

Definitely not cheap but I need to protect my fridge.

I'm hoping to find a camp site on memorial day weekend but I doubt there will be any good ones. If not then probably the second week of June.
