I think it is called insert roof edge molding . It is usually made of softer aluminium that can bend along the roof curve. Try searching it in your area or from online suppliers.

Unfortunately I do not have a "fit-all" answer to your question. You will have to ask the store staff, generally it depends how soft the material is and how high is the edge that is resisting in the direction of the arch bend. Many aluminium alloys can also be annealed or softened by heating them, but you have to know what you are doing from the alloy composition properties perspective.
