Aliexpress to the rescue.
Was scrolling through one of my Amazon camper lists and something caught my eye, scrolled back to see the Alpicool 32qt fridge price had gone from $259 to $559  This is one of those Chinese items that everyone slaps their sticker on and sells, I've seen it under 3-4 vendors names.
Applied my Google-fu  and found it on Aliexspess with a Vevor sticker on it for $195 and ships from the US so I pulled the trigger, $216.08 to my door and free shipping :D
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

I had to remove the axle from my trailer as well - self inflicted pain on my part! Turns out that there is a left and right side when the axle has electric brakes! Oops! Had to slightly raise the frame then remove axle U-bolts. After raising he frame another inch, I was able to roll the axle out, spin it 180 degrees hen roll it back under the U-bolts. Only took an hour or so but my pride felt it longer than that

I wouldn't know anything about that feeling, nope not a thing

Finally the last part that needs to be welding on has arrived.

So as the story goes, I ordered the tongue jack on the 4th, it shipped on the 14th, got stuck in bad weather, delivery date got pushed back 3 times, but it's here, only 8 days Dallas to Seattle. I've been waiting for this so I only have to flip the trailer over one more time for this and weld the coupler on, clean up the bottom and paint.

You gotta love the packing, am I right.
This seems to be becoming the new standard shipping.

You're moving right along with that frame now.. maybe a lot of the headaches are behind you, now that you, have all the parts..
Stay at it, work your own pace, and it will all come together...

Delays are meant to keep us entertained.. Well that's what my grand pappy always told me.... then again he was old....

Nearly there, things should move a little quicker once I button up the frame this weekend.
Been gathering up trailer wiring odds and ends and will have everything I need tuesday.

The Vevor 30L fridge/freezer showed up today.

169644

169645

It was 75deg when I plugged into house power, it took 20 mins to get to freezing. Once turned off it took 2.75 hrs to get back to 75 with ambient temps at 85deg

Pulled the axle and flipped it over. Finished up the bottom welding ,cleaned up all the welds with a 40gt flapper disc and sprayed with Rustoleum semi gloss.

169656

Flipped it back and did the same on top.

First time outside as a trailer.

It did take some time. I ordered it back in October and got the last of the lost parts in January.

Behind every story is a journey.

I got it through China's Amazon Aliexpress, it shipped out of California, they do have an online store vevor.com but it was $30 cheap through Aliexpress.
You just have to keep an eye on shipping origan with them or things can take 4-6 weeks like back in the olden times, mail order catalogs.

Busy day out there on the floor of the tiny camper assembly plant on our 2nd 80+ deg day, in a row even

Propane line is installed down the left side. The 12' braided line as only $25 so why not. I used PEX standoffs to basically function as grommets because the size of the grommet I could get over the fitting of the line would have had me drilling a 1.25" hole, and that is nearly half the width of the structural material, so no, plus it would have been a lose fit around the line, the PEX standoffs fit almost snug on the line. That went pretty quickly, also used a few rubber covered cable clamps to hold the line away from the frame so it can't rub transitioning down under the tongue frame, the 11lb propane tank, which showed up the other day, will live in the tongue box.

169678 169676 169677 169681

I was going to drill through the side of the coupler and frame to attach my safety chains but DOT says no. I used this leftover piece I didn't need with the beefy 7000 lb. coupler to strengthen the attachment point instead of just into the bottom leg of the channel frame where it would probably just rip out. I still need to drill a couple bolt holes.

169683

Got a good start on the trailer wiring, electrical is running down the right side. I'm using the trailer jack hole in the coupler to pop my 7 pin pigtail up through and these table leg feet do not actually lock in to 2.25" holes, I'm guessing it probably doesn't work in a 2 5/16" hole either like they said. I'll let the RTV sit for 24 hrs until it's fully cured and see if that will be a snug enough fit to hold it, if not I'll get a couple screws in it from underneath to hold it.
Trying out the Loctite plastic adhesive to glue a piece of 1/8" rubber to the plastic foot to make a grommet, so to speak, that will allow the cable to come in at an angle. I was going to use an automotive body plug but the skip 2.25" I drilled a couple holes in the rubber and then cut a slit with a utility knife and as you can see I used my 7/8" elongated hole drill bit to make the hole. :D

169675 169684

The 1/2" wire loom is big enough to hold all the trailer wires and it just fits through the grommets. That was a bit of a challenge getting the sheet metal grommets onto the 1/8" frame.

169680

I was working on the junction box when the little black box showed up so I can separate the blinkers from the brake lights. Thanks Tom&Shelly

Had to weld in a couple tabs to mount the junction box to, had to clip down the ears a bit on the attachment holes for the taillight converter, that's not quite going like I planned, but I have another plan

169679

So all and all it was a productive day.

and yes, yes I did burn up 4 Harbor freight step drill bits in just 11 holes enlarging mostly existing holes from 1/2" to 7/8" and yes I was using oil :R
