I thanked this forum for the help during construction and now I have to say thanks again as I have just had my first experience of life on the edge, and it was just what I had hoped for, GREAT....
Norfolk, Bath, St Ives- Cornwall, Brecon Beacons - Wales, Hay-On-Wye, Malvern, Home. 1050 miles. Average temp /day 10C(50F) /night (3C(38F). Strong winds and rained heavily most days. Did this dampen our spirits? NO!

Despite the weather, typical for October, we were warm as tost and dry and happy. Roll on summer.
One happy camper
In the UK - Camping, is not popular in October.
Make shift awning. It was far too windy for anything bigger.
But it was all worth it. When it stopped raining the views were stunning an the autum colours were fantastic.
lessons learned:-
A little condensation which, I quickly fixed, with 6 carpet tiles and a newspaper.
Too hot at night - it needs more vents.
The kitchen area is now designed in my mind and will be build this winter.
I have decided I do not need mains power in it and will spend my money on battery driven devices.
It needs a little awning making, to take the weather off the door.
I found my last leak and plugged it.
I called in at IKEA and now have, sprung Larch bed springs/lats and a thin but comfortable mattress.
