Yes I'll make a resolution:
That I'll never make another one.
Just enjoy this ride on my trip around the sun.

Here's a simple resolution that anyone can do and will certainly make each day special. Be totally aware of each thing you do. Whether it's washing your hands, taking out the garbage, listening to another (that is, really listening), driving, whatever, just be there for it instead of worrying about the next thing, and the next, and the next, ad infinitum. We only have this one moment, each moment. Don't worry about things that have happened, or will happen. This is not to say "be brain dead," but simply pay attention! In this speeded-up world of multi-tasking, we could do worse than to Do one thing at a time . . .

My resolution?
It's the quote I've been trying to achieve for the last three years, a traditional Chinese Moon Festival wish:
"Be in harmony with your expectations."

Sounds easy...but I'm still working at it. I hit it often, but not always. ;-)
It's about being aware, living in the moment...and somehow getting done what you *really* want to achieve, too.

Happy New Year, all!

I have Three simple rules. well not rule but more like a way to live.
Before you do or say something;
Think:

Is it Necessary

Is it Kind

Is it true

I sounds easy until you put it to practice. When and if you do you will find you don't say so much. :)

Just food for thought.
Lee
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

My resolution...don't start another tear in 2007....and Lee...please check your rule #1 and think about Ambulance, Packard, and Scooter!!!! Sorry guy...just giving you a bad time, you and I know I'd do the same....  Doug

and if anyone thinks I'm really giving him a bad time...well, you don't know the whole story...but what he says is true to how he is...
