Thanks, guys!
A few of your copies just went out YESTERDAY--I had planned to do it Monday, but I didn't get a chance. Also, when I went to check my P.O. Box, Jack's and David's envelope's were sitting there as returned because of NO POSTAGE ON THEM!
Now believe me, I don't know how I could have made this mistake--I only mailed out 25 and handled each one with tenderness and love. But obviously, I DID screw up, but they're now on their way. I was probably dizzy from that long shlep back to the Post Office after locking my keys in the truck.)
(Paul, give me an address.)
So far, the response from the locals has been nothing but raging positive. I'm getting people telling me that they're not just laughing, but they're laughing until it hurts. But now comes the really hard part:
Turning this into a money-maker.
Brick, yeah--Quark 7, which has finally caught up with In Design with some cool new features, like drop shadows for text and art, transparency, etc.. Used to be a pain having to go into Photoshop to do that stuff and bring it back into Quark.
Being the complaining Jew that I am, there are a few things I spotted that really bug me but that most people will hardly notice or blink at:
A few typos (last word in tuba piece should be "Munich," not "Munch")...a box rule that doesn't align on the bottom (Whose Ass Is This)...a bad clipping path on the right side of that girl's leg...and a March/May boo boo in the the second Jesus piece.
I know--it doesn't mean squat, but it still bothers me.
Here we go again!
