I've found that a 32" wide door is just about ideal, especially in a 10' long teardrop. I can't remember where your front "Armoir" is in relation to your curent door location, but it looks like you've got at least a couple of more inches between the door and axle to play with. In my experience, I've found that if you place the leading edge of the door 24" from the leading edge of the trailer's profile (on a 10' profile), that's just about perfect, and you'll still have plenty of clearance between door and fender.
BTW - nearly all of my latest teardrops are (and have been) based on the Modernistic / Cub profile ... I just
love it! ...
