I got done with the 1 lay up and the mold has to be cut up with the U.S.A.F watching your tax dollars.I can keep the steal plat it glass smooth on top and bottom .Is there any way to cut these in to 2 in thick for welding tables

Glass, are ya talking about cutting them so as to get 2 3"x5'x12' pieces??? If so, I know of no way of doing it unless it is some sort of water jet or wire cutter like those used on large rock pieces...hey, ask your A.F. buddies if you can borrow one of their lasers.....

thanks. Cut the molds with a cutting torch there a rock cutting outfit just up the road . The part we made can only be trim with a lasers it has mollyem treads in it tritium dust and carbon If i could build a trailer out of this we could use as a beach ball it that light and strong .had a 18 Wheeler pick it up and got all 3 pieces at one time

Glassie, my curiosity is up to the cat killin' stage...but I don't really wanna know what the heck y'all bult for the A.F.(molybdenum/tritium/carbon???) since that would probably mean a visit from the gize wearing dark sunglasses and driving black SUV's :frightened: :NC :D ;)

madjack your very Right as soon as I stared the lay up had to have approved rent a cop tell they pick it up but they did not give a dam about the mold being moved are my rink-dink shop but I am the last one left that work on them I am thinking that resin might be a Little bad for your liver

Glassice... Last time I checked steel was going for better than $.50 a pound...
A hunk 5" x 5' x 12' has gotta be worth 6 or 7 thousand dollars?
Sell it and buy all the welding tables ya want. :thumbsup: :lol:
