My son in the Air Force had Sprint in Texas and loved it. He is now out of South Dakota and Sprint doesn't have service there, in fact there are only a a couple of choices.Of those choices the best option is Verizon which is more espenisve than others available in other parts of the country.
The other one charged a monthly fee with taxes which came to $8 a month to put his phone on hold when the Air Force sent him over seas for temporary duty.
At least Verizon only has a small one time fee & the phone can be put on hold for up to a year.
With the military if you get sent to a new base where there is no cell service, the contract is ended with no early termination fees. That's what happened with my son & Sprint.![]()
