This is Gerald Hynes from Manitoba who did over 20,000km with his teardrop.
Or then here's an oldie for you - a Vagabund Campingwagen being pulled by a DKW RT 200 with maybe 10hp!
You might look at the Ailette (France) or Piccolo (Germany) mini-trailers as being more suitable for a motorcycle - they're a bit smaller than a regular teardrop.
Michael from Holland (
trabant) has a recent copy of a piccolo that he has posted about (
restoring my Tricolo TTT):
and your BMW has at least twice, or maybe three times, the power of his Trabbie!
But you need to look at the law in Sweden as in most EU countries, motorcycle trailers are limited to 1000mm overall width and, at least in Britain, 2500mm length from the motorcycle rear axle. This limits you to a very small trailer unless you think the police don't know about the motorcycle trailer size law (which many will not!).
In that case, you need the
folding motorcycle camper of Frank Mattox that is on my web site
