Friends don't let friends drive fords (the # four auto maker in the world )
Yup - But it sure has nothing to do with their trucks . . . . actually, it's in spite of their trucks - If they didn't build such excellent trucks, they would likely be #5 alreadyAirspeed wrote:P.S. There is a reason Ford has droped to the number 4 auto maker.
Do you have any numbers to back that up? I would be interested in reading them. If you're correct in saying that General Motors sells an equal number of GMC branded trucks and Chevrolet branded ones, then when combined they are probably in 3rd, behind Dodge also because GMC by itself is 4th, behind Ford, Dodge and Toyota (in that order) in sales of full sized pickups . . . . and Toyota doesn't sell all that many full sized trucks - YetAirspeed wrote:Ironically, GM sell nearly twice as many trucks as Ford, You have to take into account the fact that half the trucks sold by GM are Chevy and Chevy alone sell nearly as many trucks as Ford but GMC sells nearly as many truck as Ford as well, Therefore The combination of Chevy and the identical GMC trucks sell nearly twice as many as ford
